had my very first day of lectures at JC side today! (:
expected it to be boring. but chemistry and physics lectures were actually quite interesting (:
didn't learn anything much, since it was revision classes on sec 4 syllabus.
although it felt quite good to be back in school doing something productive again. something that i haven't been doing in a long loonnng time :D
went to play badminton with yubin, kun hwa (crap idk how to spell his name :/) and cca after school :D
realised that i'm uber unfit now. play like 1 hour then want to die liao D:

had a bbq gathering at my house yesterday (:
met with hansen, tekkie, matthew yeo at west mall and guenyik at the mrt station.
took bus to my house after buying bbq stuff.
awesome, edmund and lim qing came a bit later (:
tried and failed a lot of times to start a fire. finally, thx to spamming fire starters, we managed to get a tiny one burning. zomg fail DD:
it's all thx to the lousy quality of hansen's starters. no, not my coal. hansen's starters :/
cooked a few herpes sausages (basically disgusting, swelled up ones) and crabmeat and fishballs :D
although it was the 2 girls who were doing most of the cooking.

poker was just too friggin fun la. couldn't help it. sorry xD
matthew yeo was uber lucky yesterday night. he won all our money (in the form of chopsticks :D) AND IT WAS ALL LUCK LOR D: always the last card come open then he got some imba double or combo. SHEESH D:
why never share some luck with me huh clone? xD
AND WHY NEVER HELP ME WHEN I WAS GETTING DUNKED? WHAT KIND OF CLONE SPIRIT IS THIS LA D:

one reason why it sucks to have a pool near your house. D:

AND IT WAS HELLA FUN :D
it was a week that i would never, EVA forget (:
all the friends i made during the forum, all the amzing facilitators ( ESP KRANKY KWANKI AND JIAN HUA :D), the fun programme, made it such a unforgettable event.
it wasn't as formal as i expected it to be. and the amound of money that was spent! daryl said it was over 150k! OMG :D
and we didn't pay a single cent \o/
here's about what happened during teh past week (:
#day 1 sunday
check in. briefing + boring stuff + bridge :D
#day 2 monday
opening ceremony was as usual, boring. with a few long speeches and token of appreciation stuff. then we were introduced to our project groups. shuyi, zhiyi, crystal, bofei and me. not much talking cos we were still kinda shy :/ after that went for amzing race with podi, luna, daryl, orange, ting wei and two other ppl whose name i've forgotten :X chiong-ed around city hall mrt and purple line. quite fun but very, VERY tiring. since we were the last group to finish, we only got a trip to the merlion. but who cares? it was just for the fun during the race :D
#day 3 tuesday
was half awake in the morning so dont really remember what happened. except that i presented my research project to some ISYF participants and sec 3 students from high school.
research symposium after that and mr ZEKE presented his project :D along with joseph and kai zhi. omg so zai la. can present in front of nobel laurettes. jealous D:
had project discussion again after that and got to know my group betta :D
went to night safari at night. got to see some animals sleeping in the dark and smelled their crap and stuff. bleh. although the ben and jerry's made the trip worth it :D
#day 4 wednesday
had culture hour in the morning and a dialouge session with NUS professors. i think i dont want to go NUS (if can la) next time liao. those two professors never answer questions one. keep avoiding them like politicians -.- we all got tired of asking them in the end and the session became mostly silence and facilitator donglu trying to fill up the silence lol :D
had book circle after that. i was freaking nervous la! didn't prepare at all! read only 3 pages of the thick book while the others all like did so much research. luckily, thanks to my higly developed intelligence, i managed to come up with a few questions regarding the events in the book and it's relevance in our lives. one of my comments even got quoted in the closing ceromony newsletter! am i a genius or what? ;D
went to chinatown with amazing race group at night. brought the foreigners to orchard and walked around. watched 'love matters' movie after that. apparently it was rated only 1.5 stars according to shuyi's mom. but it was damn funny la! no plot at all though :/
#day 5 thursday
had a dialouge session with professor osheroff, american nobel laurette. a really fun guy. he kept niao-ing the bush administration haha :D
chionged a bit of project in the afternoon and slacked around.
shuyi's parents brought us out for dinner at ulu pandan for seafood :D

some hwachong ppl went out with nygh ppl and didn't sleep at all haha. kudos to those crazy people :D
#day 6 friday
CNY CELEBRATIONS AT JC SIDE!
not really better than high school side lol. although the performances had more quality, it didn't really get people high :/
dialouge sessions with the other nobel laurette, professor kurt wuthrich. couldn't really understand his accent so decided to sleep.
went for an uber short aviation science course and flew a plane for only 15 minutes D:
too bad it couldn't be longer :/
had culture hour after that, which was almost like a crapping session between facils and participants. super fun :D
went for closing ceromony after that. DAMN UBER HIGH CLASS ZOMG.
there were like 3 knives and 3 forks and dno how many spoons and i had no idea how to use tem all omg D:
and it was super cold inside the ballroom!
the whole thing probably costed hci and temasek like 60k++.
after the dinner people got high and started cam whoring like crazy. then we all dragged kwanki and jian hua out to force them to perform on the piano :D everyone got even higher after that and we started singing songs like 童话 and 朋友 :D 朋友 so famous la! even indonesians knew hot to sing it! :D sang until the hotel staff stopped us, so we went onto the bus to sing moar :DD
tried to bond kwanki back at boarding sch. but thanks to 45 hours str8 without sleeping, most hc ppl were all half dead and decided to go sleep instead.
#day 7 today
went to eat prata for breakfast and zhao-ed home to sleep after that. D:

school starting next week. not exactly though. but i'm going back to school(:

last few days to savour before that. :/
going to some military training centre tomorrow for some NS exhibition (:
hopefully they let me shoot something. or maybe toss a grenade. bwahaha >:D
but it'll probably end up as some boring lectures and propoganda videos. *sigh*

supposed to be crashing hansen's primary sch chalet, but it ended up to be a chalet with random people who, seemingly, have no connections.
the chalet was uber BIG la! two floors + kitchen + living room + TWO TOILETS (SUCCESS \o/) + 2 bedrooms
wish i could have stayed there forever.
and it was really coincidential that we had our chalet at the same place and time with 4H people and baifeng (:
played stuff like snapjack, the water game (almost puked D:), mahjong, blah.
and i broke a tree with my hammock! :DD
tekkie was like stunned for a few seconds after the tree collapsed on me. then we both started laughing hysterically before guenyik came out to take photos of me lying on the ground with a tree on top of me :D
then the three of us decided to cover up my murder by 'replanting' it back with another group of trees :D
as usual, no one woke up to see the sunrise. cos we were all half dead from sleeping on random things in the chalet like chairs, the floor, the bartop in the kitchen. only stupid hansen and matthew yeo got beds-.-
guenyik was kinda intimidated since she was the only girl in the hci guys infested chalet area lol (:
went to jp after the chalet to eat at BK. checked if harris had stock for eclipse and breaking dawn. but as usual, they didn't. so i just booked them and they said it would arrive in early feb. *crosses fingers*
went to celebrate matthew yeo's (YAY CLONE :D) bdae before the chalet.
met at citilink before going to sakae sushi for lunch.
OMG LA WHY DID I HAVE TO EAT BEFORE GOING TO MEET UP.
i was freaking full thanks to the 2.5 burgers i ate before coming. so i could only stuff down 5 sushis. worse still, we later realised there was no buffet on sundays and so we had to each pay $26 instead of $13 -.-
$5 DOLLAR SUSHIS OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG D:
i am never going to touch another sushi. EVA.

it was getting kinda long i guess :/
even the barber was thought so.

still trying to get used to not being able to see my hair now haha. feels damn bare D:
went to vivo today to celebrate shen nan's birthday in the afternoon :D
had cake. idk wad flavour. on the roof. which was the best spot ever cos it was impossible to light the candles lol. but being the resourceful, intelligent and creative teenagers we are, we managed to light it somehow. shen nan had to make a wish in like 1 second and blow the candles out :DD
after finishing the cake came the part we were all waiting for. DUNKING MUAHAHAHAHA :DD
we ended up looking like several retards who were too big for their age playing in the pool where usually only children under the age of 5 played :D
guenyik thought wearing a yellow shirt might protect her.
but apparently she wasn't spared :DD
only bufan managed to escape the terrible fate. we were all too afraid to anger teh Awesome one :/
had din-unch/lun-ner at carl's jr. damn big burger lor! felt uber bloated after that.
i have no idea how i'm supposed to finish the 8 inch wide 4 inch thick burger tml. my mom warns me to be careful not to die of a heart attack.

omg the movie was retarded la (: but quite funny.
if only i could find a member from that club. then i'll ask for a million bucks and they cant say no :DD
went around looking for bags all over jp before and after the movie. found a nice bag with quite a nice price tag. $45.90. too bad my wallet was kinda empty :/
yea. the chalet, movie outings and other stuff kinda burnt away all my holiday money faster than a fire could.
and i still owe people money.
didn't know money could cause stress D:
i think i'll wait for people to remind me before i return them their money :D there're too many ppl anyways, cant really rmb them all.
hopefully they forget. muahahahahahaa ;D
ISYF in 10 days. and i have no idea what to bring or when to reach boarding school. the details are somewhere inside my facebook-mail-spammed hotmail account which has like 92093803294703294821 mail. i might take a day or two to find it :/ even with the search engine.

finally in the mood to blog haha (:
just came back from primary school chalet at east coast park. didn't expect the turnout to be so good lor (:
at least we got the room filled :D
played lots of card games and had two overnight cycling expeditions, aka no sleep. also had a barbecue, and as usual, i was one of the ppl cooking, together with zhenyuan, hanting, remus and ding xiang, unlike some people *ahem* choony, cca *ahem*.
apparently everyone already knew about my notoriously bad reputation for bbqing and so they kinda refused to touch my chicken wings D: omg heartbroken la D:
anyway, everyone had a good time and that's all that mattered :D
met a lot of people who i've already forgotten completely. and i forgot their names again already lol :X probably cos of the lack of sleep la. :D
went to jurong point to eat after the chalet. all the way from the east to the west woot! :D
AND PEOPLE. DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO NOT, EAT AT THE BANQUET FOOD COURT AT JP1. THERE ARE EMPTY SEATS THERE FOR A VERY GOOD REASON, AND DON'T LEARN THE REASON THE HARD WAY LIKE I DID D:
watched bedtime stories after a long 2 hour wait. not bad la, although i felt it was a bit cliche. but any movie with gumballs raining from the sky is good enough for me :D although it would have been better if that guy got the ferrari :DD
waiting for school reopen liao (: or more accurately, ISYF. saw the programme already. not bad leh :D got amazing race and visit to night safari. looks like it's gonna be enjoyable. not to mention i get to skip the opening week of sch ;D
and i havent done anything yet! nothing! not even the NYGH maths paper which is lost somewhere in my room. or storeroom. or maybe even the toilet. the fact that i take more than 15 seconds to calculate 180 minus 64 shows that i'm seriously and completely screwed.
but who cares? :DD
